My health and social care career started in 1996 working in a nursing home. During my time there I discovered my passion and drive to support those in their later years, to enjoy life and be as happy and as comfortable as they could possibly be. I have spent my entire working life supporting those in need of care and also helping staff members to grow and meet their full potential. As my career progressed, I turned to teaching, I taught in care homes, domiciliary agencies and hospitals, always ensuring staff knew the importance of dignity and respect when carrying out their roles. 

After much consideration, I left the world of teaching care staff to return to the "hustle and bustle" of working back on the floor! I had missed the direct contact with those who need our support. I have gone on to manage great carers and work with a vast range of clients. With our person centered approach here at Agacia Care we will always put our clients needs, wishes and preferences at the heart of their support plan.
